When Brother and Martin Williams Advertising needed custom robot costumes for a series of Thrivent commercials, they partnered with SCPS Unlimited to transform actors into fully realized robotic characters. Inspired by iconic sci-fi robots, our team developed original concepts before creating detailed 3D models and fabricating each costume using a combination of 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, molding, and hand finishing.

Every costume was engineered to balance visual impact with actor comfort and mobility. Through multiple costume fittings, we ensured each robotic head, hand, and body component fit perfectly while remaining durable enough for production. Our fabrication team also supported the project on set, helping the production crew achieve the desired performance while keeping filming on schedule.
