Present at the center of each of the Riot Games Valorant Champions Tour events was the “On The Low Taco Truck we designed and brought into reality. Taking a typical LA food truck and transforming the vehicle from the inside out, we added a massive speaker wall, a DJ booth, reactive LED lighting, external graphics, and 3D assets inspired by the game, as well as a functioning surveillance camera system and large streaming monitors inspired by the character lore of Cypher.

Story Driven Design

— COMBING LORE AND INSPIRATION —

Our team of designers and fabricators collaborated with the team at Riot Games to ensure that the upcoming game assets and the real life truck our team was creating would represent each other harmoniously through launch of the events and content in-game.

Story Driven Design

— COMBINING LORE AND INSPIRATION —

We Bring Visions Into Reality

In addition to the helmets, we were asked to create space suit backpacks which housed air cooling systems. We developed fan cooling systems that were integrated into each pack. This feature sent air through tubes to the helmets, literally cooling the actors. For comfort and added mobility, each actor had their own custom sized backpack.

Processing Story into Reality

After rebuilding the interior structure of the massive truck we began reconstructing many of the iconic environmental tech assets seen throughout Cypher’s hometown map within Valorant. We then merged these components together which mimicked the character lore of Cypher tinkering and teasing with whatever technology he could get his hands on.
