Working alongside the teams at Disney Pixar and Mattel, we created a detailed replica of Radiator Springs for Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim. Our digital artists studied the Cars films frame by frame and visited California Adventure to match colors, textures, and small design details, helping shape both the structures already in production and those still to come in Mattel’s Precision Series collection.

We designed and modeled each section to fit together like a modular puzzle, then 3D printed, assembled, painted, and wired the buildings with lights and neon programmed to turn on in the same sequence seen in the first Cars movie when the townsfolk light up Main Street. The finished model is now permanently displayed at Sarge’s Surplus Hut in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure.
