For the 2026 Super Bowl campaign, Nissan and Omnicom challenged SCPS Unlimited to solve a very real game-day problem, how to transport dips and snacks without chaos. Featuring chef Matty Matheson, the campaign needed a solution that was functional, visually compelling, and seamlessly integrated into the 2026 Nissan Rogue. The result was the Nissan Dip Seat: a custom-fabricated, precision-fit insert designed to stabilize snacks while transforming the vehicle interior into the ultimate game-day setup.

THE SCPS

SOLUTION

To ensure accuracy and authenticity, the SCPS Unlimited team began by visiting a Nissan dealership to study the 2026 Nissan Rogue in person. Using 3D scanning technology, the team captured the exact geometry of the vehicle’s center seat area where the Dip Seat would be installed. This allowed the designers and engineers to precisely model the insert so it would fit perfectly within the existing interior space.

From there, SCPS developed a custom seat design capable of securely holding multiple bowls of dips and snacks while maintaining the aesthetic language of the Rogue’s interior. The result was a prop that felt like it could genuinely belong inside the vehicle while delivering the humor and visual impact needed for the campaign.

TECHNICAL DETAILS:

  • 3D printed structural components forming the primary seat structure.
    .
  • Custom hinges and locking mechanisms engineered to support functionality and durability.
    .
  • Precision-fit geometry based on 3D scans of the Rogue interior.
    .
  • Custom bodywork and finishing to match the vehicle’s aesthetic.

    .

VERSATILITY & FUNCTIONALITY:

The Nissan Dip Seat was engineered for on-camera performance, balancing stability, accessibility, and flexibility. Designed for quick, intuitive use, it allowed talent to interact naturally with multiple snacks during filming. Its modular configuration accommodated a range of dish sizes while maintaining consistent reliability throughout production. The final build performed seamlessly on set in the campaign featuring Matty Matheson.

THE

EXECUTION

SCPS Unlimited developed multiple concept directions for the Nissan Dip Seat before refining the design in collaboration with the client. Once approved, the team moved quickly into production, 3D modeling and engineering the seat for fabrication based on precise measurements of the 2026 Nissan Rogue interior. Components were 3D printed, structurally reinforced, and finished through bodywork, sanding, and paint to achieve a clean, automotive-grade appearance.

The final assembly was carefully tested to ensure a secure, precision fit within the vehicle’s center seat position while maintaining a polished, camera-ready aesthetic. Despite an accelerated timeline, the team delivered a fully functional build that performed reliably on set and translated seamlessly on camera.
