— FUNCTIONAL & MODERN —

Our innovative approach involved modifying a real motorcycle for rider POV shots and replicating those modifications on a blue screen bike for wide panning shots. Leveraging our 3D modeling workflow and existing game assets enabled a seamless integration of physical and digital elements during post-production.

We Bring Visions Into Reality

In addition to the helmets, we were asked to create space suit backpacks which housed air cooling systems. We developed fan cooling systems that were integrated into each pack. This feature sent air through tubes to the helmets, literally cooling the actors. For comfort and added mobility, each actor had their own custom sized backpack.

We Bring Visions Into Reality

We knew communication was going to be the key to successfully recreating a life-sized version of the Jackal cockpit, so pre-visualizations and detailed samples were provided to ensure a smooth execution of the project.

Once again, game assets allowed us to produce both digital and practical assets which we custom machined in-house, and meticulously painted to achieve camera-ready perfection. Our swift and efficient process enabled us to quickly deliver and set up the cockpit on set.

CREATIVITY & EXPERTISE

This project was a collaboration we couldn’t be more proud of. From concept and design — including research, testing and fabrication — to a remote location where our technicians operated and provided support during shooting. SCPS is committed to ensuring every element of a costume contributes to the overall cinematic experience.
