For TNT’s series The Last Ship, we created a series of visual effects elements to represent a dangerous virus spreading through the world. Using a mix of materials, chemicals, and practical techniques, we ran extensive tests to find the most convincing and camera ready looks. We shared videos back and forth with the producers to refine the visuals, and once the final versions were approved, we re created them on set using custom rigs so they could be filmed directly for the trailer and the series.
